The Karen HHED-20 can detect explosive materials from the air or through a wiping test. The detector is portable and can be operated independently of the mains with its replaceable rechargeable battery. Its sensors detect all types of explosives, from black powder to plastic explosives and TNT. The analysis time is only 5 – 10 seconds and the device gives the alarm audible and via the integrated color display. The detected explosive type is displayed. The device provides an interface to the PC for software updates and measurement evaluations.
