Motorized Road Blocker
A motorized road blocker barrier is a type of security barrier that is designed to prevent unauthorized access to a designated area, such as a restricted or high-security zone. It consists of a durable metal plate or barrier that can be raised or lowered vertically from the ground, typically by means of a motorized mechanism.
Motorized road blocker barriers are commonly used in military bases, airports, government facilities, and other high-security areas where the risk of unauthorized entry is high. They can be controlled by a remote control, a keypad, or an access control system, and can be integrated with other security systems such as surveillance cameras, alarms, and intercoms.
One of the advantages of using motorized road blocker barriers is that they provide a high level of security while allowing for efficient traffic flow. When the barrier is raised, vehicles cannot pass through, but once the authorized vehicle is identified and granted access, the barrier can be quickly lowered to allow for smooth passage.
However, it is important to note that motorized road blocker barriers should be used only in appropriate situations and should be installed by trained professionals to ensure safe and effective operation.
How Does Motorized Road Blocker Work?
Electric motorized crash-tested road blocker barriers; It is a type of safety barrier used in areas requiring high security. The working principle of these barriers works with the lifting arm apparatus controlled by an electric motor and reducer unit. When a vehicle approaches the barrier, sensors that detect the vehicle’s approach are activated. A security check is then made to decide whether to allow the vehicle to pass. If the vehicle is suitable for passage, the motor and reducer system is activated with the open command and the barrier opens slowly. If desired, the barrier speed can be adjusted at the desired level with the speed controller, maximum 2 seconds. If the barrier is wanted to be removed and closed to no passage, the close button is pressed and if there is no vehicle on the barrier sensors, it rises upwards and closes the road to the passage. The purpose of sensors is to ensure vehicle and person safety and to prevent accidents. Sensors are of 2 types as Loop type metal mass detector or photoelectric beam sensors called photocell. Electric motor crash-tested road blocker barriers are resistant to high-speed crashes of vehicles and are rigorously tested to ensure safety.
