The Karen Linac Neutron Shielded Doors are lead lined and/or borated polyethylene (BPE) filled cores with steel faces and edges. For over 40 years, The Karen has custom manufactured neutron shielded doors to suit each individual linear accelerator radiation / oncology project requirement based on linear accelerator energy output, radiation type, orientation to radiation sources, primary beam configuration and overall room design. We manufacture sliding or hinged doors in new and retrofit applications weighing up to 40,000 lbs. each.
