X-RAY TRAIN INSPECTION SCANNING SYSTEM
Train drive-through inspection system allows inspection of cargos for their correspondence to accompanying documents and detection of weapons, explosives, as well as smuggled goods (cigarettes) and people without cargo unloading and wagon unsealing.
The use of high-energy X-ray inspection system Karenscan S-5500 for cargo train screening reduces significantly the necessity of manual inspection and cargo unloading from the train when the inspectors are at work.
X-ray inspection system Karenscan S-5500 Train drive-through inspection system includes equipment, protective rooms for its arrangement and protective shielding to provide radiation safety. X-ray inspection system Karenscan S-5500 consists of an ionizing radiation source, a detection and data transfer system, a signal control and processing unit, installed in the portal of the System, as well as of an acquisition/analysis workstation to operate the system.
Product Information
The Karenscan S-5500 side-view X-ray inspection solution analyses rail cars and wagons to reveal dangerous or illegal cargo, such as cigarettes, explosives, narcotics and weapons. With its powerful 6MeV generator, the Karenscan S-5500 can scan up to 300 containers in 10 minutes. It has the ability to see through 300mm (11.8”) of steel, when a train is travelling at an optimal speed of 15km/hr.
The Karen’s powerful software provides operators with access to a variety of customizable image treatments, options and comparison tools to support effective interpretation of images and verification of cargo. Our Karenscan S-5500 operating platform can also be upgraded with additional options such as automatic container code recognition, for the quick retrieval of associated dataset information.
Karenscan S-5500 can be networked with Customs EDI networks and other Karenscan S-5500 systems, to support remote analysis, comparison and knowledge sharing.
