Hesco Barrier Defence wall sand barrier is a modern barrier system (gabion) manufactured by Karen in Turkey and exported all over the world. It is primarily used for military fortifications and flood control. The barrier is made of a collapsible wire mesh container and heavy duty fabric liner and used as a temporary to semi-permanent levee or blast wall against explosions or small-arms. It has seen considerable use in Iraq and Afghanistan.
This barrier system originally designed for use on beaches and marshes for erosion and flood control. Because it is really strong and effective, it quickly became a popular security device in the 1990s.
General Features

Fabric Part: This fabric is not affected by rain and mud. Because this is a special fabric, in rainy/snowy weather the water inside the barrier is thrown out with the help of fabric. As Karen, we pay special attention to the fact that our fabrics have these properties.
Sand Part: Normal sand is not used in such obstacles. The characteristics and quality of the sand vary according to the region where the obstacle will be established. We use the most suitable sand for each project to ensure the maximum efficiency from the obstacle.
